What stays in this browser

Task answers, scores, and an optional unlock flag are stored in localStorage under gaivsiq.session.v2. They do not go to our server when you take the test as a guest. Retake clears answers and scores. You can also clear site data in the browser.

What signing in does

Signing in is optional. It sets a session cookie and lets My page keep a test record: the date and the free composites (FSIQ, GAI, and the gap). We store the scored profile so you can pay later. We do not upload item-by-item answers. Google sign-in verifies a Google ID token. Email sign-in sends a one-time code that expires in ten minutes.

Payment

We do not collect card numbers. Payment goes through Waffo Pancake (Merchant of Record). They receive the email you type at checkout, the charge, and tax details. After a paid order we keep the scored sheet on that email, send a copy to the inbox, sign you in on this device with that address, and let you open or regenerate a download from My page. We store the scores, not a PDF file.

Chrome extension

The optional GAI vs IQ calculator extension runs the same reading as the website instruments. Scores you type stay on that device. The extension does not upload scores, does not read other pages, and does not inject links. Optional “Open the reading” links open this site in a new tab.

User data rights

If we hold a record on our servers, you can ask to see it or ask us to delete it. That covers the sign-in email, saved test records on My page (date and free composites), and purchased report scores tied to the checkout email. It does not require you to clear this browser yourself. Item answers that never left this device are not on our servers; clear site data or retake to remove those.

Write from the same inbox to hello@gaivsiq.com and say whether you want a copy, deletion, or both. We will confirm the email, send what we hold or delete it, and reply when it is done. We aim to finish within 30 days. After deletion, that address can no longer open My page or a paid sheet on our side.

Waffo Pancake keeps what a payment processor must keep (the charge, tax, and the email they received at checkout). We cannot erase their legal copies. Ask them if you need that record removed as well.

What we do not do
